It really wasn't as dark as this makes it appear. This is one of those mistakes in camera settings that actually came out pretty nice. I like it anyway.
I love the way the clouds look in this one. Was even better in person of course. Photos never quite get it exactly as it appears to the naked eye.
I think this is my favorite "mistake" of the day.
I guess it isn't peak leaf time yet, but these mountains are still a sight to behold.

I love your cloud pics except for the one with wavey clouds.Reminds me to much of cold weather and snow.Anyway the dark clouds are terrific.wish i could blow them up for a larger pic.Maybe i can figure out how.They are perfect for Hallowen.keep up the good work at randomly taking pics.As Forrest Gump said"Life is like a box of chocolates--you never know what you're going to get".
I'll email some of those pictures to you. May put them in several emails as the files are pretty large. Breaking them up will make it easier.
